For each animal we adopt, one more can be rescued. Paws to Heart Rescue does not euthanize animals to make room for others.

By fostering an animal, you are opening up a space for an otherwise doomed animal. We are always in urgent need of homes.

About Paws to Heart Rescue

Paws to Heart Rescue is dedicated to the well-being and rehoming of homeless pets and placing them in foster or adoptive homes in and and around the Philadelphia area. The majority of animals we save are pulled from overcrowded shelters where they are often in danger of being euthanized. We are a non-kill organization and rescue pets (mostly cats and dogs) who have been neglected, abused, malnourished, and sick.   Our volunteers are not paid for their service or and do not make any money off of adoptions

Once rescued, all of our furry friends are placed in private foster homes. While in foster care, we do our best to ensure that all of our pets get healthy and are well socialized to make the best companion for their adoptive family. 

Perfectly healthy, adoptable pets are euthanized EVERY HOUR in the United States. Please opt to adopt!
