For Now Paws to Heart Rescue Has Ceased Operations
There is heartbreak in every story and for the past several years Paws to Heart Rescue founder Kristen Sarmiento has tried to write a happy ending to each of them. Unfortunately, we stopped counting those who have tried to hurt us when executive decisions didn't match their own agenda. Over time, it has become increasingly difficult to find reliable support in managing operations.
All of the animals in our care have been adopted and we are no longer taking in animals or accepting donations. Any returned adoptions are handled by / returned to Kristen and independently she continues to do greater things in line with the mission of Paws to Heart.
We would like to say thank you to the selfless volunteers and supporters through the years. Because of you, we have been able to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home countless cats and dogs and provide food to local pets in need.
We anticipate reorganizing and returning better at a future date and encourage your support with other organizations. We hope to emphasize the importance of compassion towards all beings great and small.
Any inquiries can be directed via e-mail.
